Employability tracking made easy… Renfrewshire Council’s Work Force Plus team is working closely with Renfrewshire Community Planning partners to help more people access and sustain employment opportunities.
The Challenge
The Council needed the capability to easily track and manage clients identified as ‘economically inactive’, from their initial engagement to employment across multiple delivery partners. They required:
- A holistic view of clients across multiple delivery partners;
- The facility to track the support services being delivered to clients;
- The ability to match clients with potential job opportunities;
- The capability to manage sources of funds and understand how funds are being spent.
The Solution
Following a competitive tendering process, the Council chose ICONI Software to implement the Renfrewshire Employability Management System (REMIS), based on ICONI’s Employability Manager.
Our Approach
Initial analysis workshops were held with the Work Force Plus team and staff from the Renfrewshire Community Planning partners. Our tailored approach meant that we were able to mirror the exact operational processes that were in place across multiple delivery partners and ensure project buy-in from all stakeholders. Data migration from existing systems was carried out with full training provided to all users.
