The Community Relations Council (CRC) is based in Belfast and was set up to promote better community relations within Northern Ireland and equally, to promote recognition of cultural diversity.

The Challenge

CRC required a grants management database solution to replace their existing system and it had to mirror all stage of the grant process:

• Application;
• Criteria & Assessment;
• Review;
• Payment;
• Monitoring & Evaluation.

The Solution

Following a competitive tendering process, CRC chose ICONI Software to implement their grant management system, based on ICONI’s Grant Manager.  An additional Policy module has been integrated into the solution to help gather evidence on the impact of financial support across Northern Ireland.

Our Approach

The full grant application process was fully analysed and viewpoints of each key user being taken into consideration.  All relevant business rules were in place to ensure a smooth transition and due diligence of all grant applications.
