Celebrating Employability Day 2025 – Championing the Sector’s Impact

Published 16th June 2025

This Friday, 20th June, marks Employability Day 2025 – an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible work being carried out by organisations and individuals across the employment support sector.

Now in its tenth year, Employability Day is coordinated by ERSA (Employment Related Services Association) and provides a platform for providers, local authorities, community organisations and partners to showcase the life-changing impact of employment support services. It also serves as a vital opportunity to engage with policymakers, funders and the public about the value of sustained investment in this work.

The theme for this year, “Inactivity to Opportunity to Good Work”, couldn’t be more relevant. Across the country, employability providers are working tirelessly to support individuals facing complex barriers – helping them build confidence, develop skills and access meaningful job opportunities.

At ICONI, we’re proud to play a small but important role in this ecosystem. Through Enspirio, our purpose-built programme management software, we work alongside providers to streamline delivery, reduce admin and enhance the support journey for both advisors and participants. Whether it’s helping to mobilise new initiatives like Connect to Work, or supporting long-standing employment and skills programmes, we’re committed to helping the sector deliver better outcomes, faster.

Employability Day is also a timely reminder of the importance of collaboration, innovation and shared learning. As we look ahead, we join the wider sector in calling for long-term, sustainable funding and policy support that allows services to grow and thrive.

We’d like to thank ERSA for continuing to lead this initiative and shine a spotlight on a sector that plays such a critical role in supporting people, communities and the wider economy.
